Swimmigo is an app with which parents track their child's swimming lesson progress. With 7 levels, 86 skills and gamification, you always have insight into progress.
Swimmigo is 100% free for parents and swimmers. Swim schools and independent instructors pay a monthly subscription with a 30-day free trial.
Yes! You can use the app completely independently. You determine the pace and location.

Yes, you can easily add multiple children in one account. Each child gets their own profile and progress.
The app shows exactly per level which exercises your child still needs to master. This way you turn every swimming day into a targeted session.
With the free Watch Along feature, family members can follow swimming progress live via a simple shared link and give a high five, without having to create an account.

Yes. You can link multiple accounts per swim school. Instructors can take over, change or unsubscribe each other's groups, ideal for illness or replacement.
As an instructor, you can be linked to multiple swim schools. In your profile, you can easily switch between your active schools to manage the right groups.
Privacy is paramount. Your profile and progress are only visible to you (and possibly an instructor invited by you or the linked swim school).
The Swimmigo subscription is what swim schools and instructors pay to use the app: student tracking, communication and the marketing toolkit. Lesson payments are separate: schools can optionally offer lesson packages and subscriptions that parents buy through the app. Parents only pay for swimming lessons, never for the app itself.
The swimming lessons are offered and provided by the swim school or instructor. Swimmigo is the platform on which the school manages its lessons, progress and payments. Swimmigo does not provide swimming lessons itself. Questions about lessons, scheduling or refunds should be directed to the school.
Yes. If your swim school offers lesson packages through the app, you can buy directly in the app and pay with iDEAL, credit card or PayPal. Your receipt and subscription status are in the app.
That depends on your swim school. Schools set their own lesson packages: one-time or as a subscription, with their own rate. In the app you always see the current amount and the terms of your school.
Tap 'Cancel subscription' in the app. The swim school receives your request and confirms; your subscription ends after the paid period.
That depends on the terms of your swim school. Every school sets its own terms, which you see in the app before purchasing. Questions about refunds should be directed to the school.
You will receive a friendly reminder in the app. The swim school sees the payment status and will contact you to resolve it together.
Yes. With Swimmigo you set up lesson packages and subscriptions, share a payment link or let parents pay directly in the app. You see the payment status per student: paid, active subscription or arrears.
Payments are processed via your school's payment environment (Stripe). Swimmigo charges a commission per payment. You'll see the exact costs in the app when you set up the payment option. You decide whether to enable it.
Three parties work together for payments. Swimmigo provides the app and the connection between parent and school, and does not store any card details itself. Stripe processes the payments, stores the payment data securely (PCI-DSS certified) and handles payouts and financial reporting (stripe.com/privacy, stripe.com/legal/privacy-center, stripe.com/docs/security). Your swim school provides the lessons, the subscriptions and its own terms.
A chargeback happens when a parent disputes a payment through their bank or card issuer. Stripe handles this. The risk lies with the swim school; in a chargeback, the amount is refunded minus Swimmigo's commission.
No, not at all. You can use Swimmigo perfectly as a student tracking system and to connect children, without enabling payments. The payment option is an extra service you turn on or off yourself.
You can cancel at any time via your App Store or Google Play account settings. You keep access until the end of your paid period.
You don't need the email. Manage your Swimmigo subscription and cancellation directly in the app or through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Yes. You will receive an email confirmation when your Swimmigo subscription starts and when you cancel it.
